Why Choose Elizabeth as Your LPC Supervisor?
1. Proven Experience and Qualifications
With over a decade of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I bring both depth and breadth to the supervision relationship. I’m not just a supervisor—I’m a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in pediatric integrated healthcare, a field where mental and physical health intersect in complex and meaningful ways. I’ve led statewide trainings, developed national technical assistance strategies, and built programs from the ground up. This means you’re learning from someone who understands the clinical, systemic, and administrative sides of the work. Whether you’re aiming to thrive in private practice or make an impact in community health, I’ll help you bridge your clinical skills with a broader understanding of how the mental health field is evolving.
2. Personalized, Holistic Approach
I believe supervision should feel grounding, not just like a checkbox. My style is person-centered and reflective—I don’t just ask “what happened,” I ask “what did it mean for you, and how do you want to grow from it?” I integrate reflective supervision practices, which help you build insight, emotional resilience, and professional presence. We’ll dig into your clinical work and how you show up in it, helping you find your voice as a therapist. I’ll also support your development of boundaries, self-care practices, and long-term career goals so you can do this work in a sustainable, nourishing way.
3. Flexibility and Accessibility
Your time matters—and so does your ability to access quality supervision no matter where you are. I offer flexible scheduling and fully virtual supervision sessions to support your needs, whether you’re working in Detroit, the UP, or anywhere in between. I understand the balancing act of being a new counselor—because I’ve been there, and I still work with new professionals every day. You’ll never feel like just another supervisee. You’ll feel seen, supported, and challenged in the best way.

Why Choose Elise as Your LPC Supervisor?
1. Proven Experience and Qualifications
I have 6+ years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor in MI, working in group practices and as the primary in my own private practice. I’m qualified in MI, and nationally, to supervise counselors new to the field, post-graduation from a masters program from LLPC to LPC. I started my own private practice in 2020, and can guide you through the necessary steps to get a practice off the ground. With both a business development and clinical background, I can look at the business of counseling from both lenses.
2. Developmental Model of Supervision
My supervision approach will support the levels of learning you go through while in your limited license phase. I will supervise you with empathy and understanding as you learn new information, perform new skills and further understand the process of providing therapy to clients. I will honor your growth and promote autonomy each step of the way, by addressing your strengths first and then exploring areas of needed understanding.
3. Current Direct Client Work
I bring real-time clinical insight to supervision through my active private practice, where I focus on trauma-informed care, identity work, and relationship dynamics. Because I’m doing the work alongside you, I offer guidance that’s grounded, practical, and compassionate. My goal is to help you build clinical confidence while staying connected to your authentic voice as a therapist.
